Nickson Makau Mbindyo

It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing of our beloved Nickson Makau Mbindyo on 30th September 2026 after a long illness bravely bourne. Nickson was a dear son to David Mbindyo Makau and Margaret Zipporah Mbindyo of Kambiti, Wamunyu town. He was husband to the late Rose Nduku Makau and a loving soulmate to Gladys Mutinda. A loving father to Faith Mwende, Brenda Kathikwa, Jordan Manee and the late David Makau. A doting grandfather to Crystal Rose Mwende and Daveson Jasiri. He was a beloved brother to Alphonce Mbindyo Muema, Patricia Mwikali Meadows, Richard Mutisya and the late Eileen Mueni. A brother-in-law to Antonette Muema, Keith Meadows and Glorious Mutisya. A cherished uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many. He will be remembered for his love for family and friends, loyal heart, incredible generosity and his signature smile. Nickson Kakai loved the great outdoors and could turn any backyard landscape into a masterpiece and any cut of meat into an unforgettable barbecue experience. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 10th October 2026. The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos, at 8:30 am for the funeral service at Kambiti Primary School and the burial at his home in Kambiti. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we all find comfort and strength in God during this time of grief.
