Death has occurred of Lilian Kiburu (formerly of East African Portland Cement) while undergoing treatment in India.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph Kiburu and Mrs Jane Kiburu.
She is survived by her children, Maureen, Nikitta and Nathan.
She was sister of Dr Lydiah Kiburu, late Alice Kiburu, Catherine Kiburu Nganga & Martin Nganga, the late Charity Kiburu, Allan Kiburu & Carol Gesare.
She was a loving auntie of many nieces and nephews.
She was niece of Veronica Njoroge of Nembu, Tom Maara Gichuhi & Margaret Gichuhi, Mr & Mrs Philip Kinuthia, Mr & Mrs Ngugi Gichuhi, Mr Kangethe & Rev. Mrs Mary Kangethe, among others.
She was a member of the Bahasha group of cousins.
Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Nembu Sub-location, Gatundu South. There will be prayers at All Saints Cathedral on Monday 11th August 2025 at 5.30pm.
Funeral service will take place at the family home in Nembu Village, Gatundu South on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at 10.00am thereafter she will be laid to rest.
